Below you will find some guidelines for the Research Presentation.
The Presentation
- The authors have 20 minutes to present their paper to the professors.
- After each presentation, two professors will make comments and give guidance about the research.
- Prepare a short presentation with a maximum of 20 slides. Once the professor had already read the abstract, the main objective is to present clearly the research goals (what), the problem research (why), the method and the theoretical framework (how) and the preliminary results.
Language
- The Power Point slides must be made exclusively in English.
- The language to be used by the authors will depend on the audience. If your session has at least one international participant, the presentation will be made in English. Otherwise, the session might be in Portuguese.
Speaker Ready Room:
A Speaker Ready Room will be offered to allow presenters the opportunity to view their presentations and to obtain any technical support they might require prior to their scheduled session.
It is recommended that you review your presentation in the Speaker Ready Room if it was created on a Macintosh computer.
